I’ve been a qualified accountant for over 13 years. But unlike 99% of accountants out there, I’ve also run my own business for that long—training other accountants, no less. I did it for the same reason most of my clients start their businesses: I wanted freedom. I didn’t want to answer to a boss. I didn’t want to sit in a grey office making someone else rich. And I sure as hell didn’t want to keep watching business owners get overcharged and underserved by “experts” who had never once run a business themselves.
So I became The Maverick Accountant. Because someone needed to flip the script—and that someone was me.
